Wildlife Safari will hold its annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning.

An ambassador cheetah will greet walkers and runners at the starting line. The course includes going through the fenced cheetah area before heading onto the road that leads to and from the game park in Winston. The 5K event begins at 8:30 a.m. with check in starting at 8:00 a.m.

Cost for participating is $20 per person with kids ages 12 and under able to take part for free. Proceeds benefit conservation efforts at Wildlife Safari. Register online at www.wildlifesafari.net
