Roseburg Police jailed a man and charged him with second-degree disorderly conduct and third-degree escape, on Tuesday.

An RPD report said just after 3:30 p.m. the 33-year old was contacted in the 300 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard where he was allegedly obstructing traffic. The second charge came after he attempted to flee from officers.

The suspect was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit. Bail was set at $7,500.
