COVID-19 CLAIMS 51 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 5,066, AS OF TUESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 51 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,066, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 869 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 386,634.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 404, which is 9 more than on Monday. There are 92 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 6 more than on Monday.

The new cases include:

*105 in Marion County

*83 in Multnomah County

*68 each in Lane and Clackamas counties

*58 in Deschutes County

Locally OHA reported 43 new cases in Douglas County
