6 more people have died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County, 103 more people have received new positive test results, and 12 more are presumptive, as of Monday.

The Douglas County COVID-19 Update covered data reported Friday through Monday.

The new deaths include a 97-year old man who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on November 11th and an 80-year old woman who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on November 13th. Both passed away on Thursday and were fully vaccinated. Douglas Public Health has received delayed reports of 4 COVID-19 related deaths. They are a 77-year old man, a 50-year old man, a 68-year old woman and a 75-year old woman. 3 were not vaccinated and 1 was fully vaccinated.

The total number of cases is now at 13,157. Of those, 12,732 are people that have received positive test results, and 425 are presumptive. 27 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 20 locally and 7 outside the area, including 1 that is being cared for out of state. 2 COVID positive patients are in the Intensive Care Unit and 3 are in the Progressive Care Unit. 24 of the 27 hospitalized patients are not fully vaccinated.
