COVID-19 has claimed 28 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 4,914, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,090 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 384,062.

OHA has resolved a technical issue that resulted in a 14 percent positivity rate for COVID-19 tests being resolved November 16th. Due to server issues on November 15th, 3,094 test results have now been assigned the appropriate status, and they will be removed from the testing counts and percent positivity on OHA’s data dashboards with Friday’s data refresh. The agency is now reporting 2,095 positive tests and a 6.2 percent positivity for November 15th.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 407, which is 12 fewer than on Thursday. There are 94 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 10 fewer than on Thursday.

The new cases include:

*140 in Multnomah County

*111 in Washington County

*97 each in Deschutes and Marion counties

*83 in Lane County

Locally OHA said there were 60 new cases in Douglas County.

The new deaths ranged in age from 37 to 91.
