A Freeze Warning and a Frost Advisory is in place through 8:00 a.m. Wednesday for central Douglas County.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said for the Freeze Warning, sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 degrees are expected. For the Frost Advisory, temperatures in the 33 to 35-degree range will result in frost formation.

The Freeze Warning area includes Sutherlin, Drain, Curtin, Camas Valley, Yoncalla and Myrtle Creek. Communities under the Frost Advisory include Roseburg, Elkton, Scottsburg, Riddle, Canyonville, Azalea and Tiller.

Forecasters said frost and freeze conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation, and could possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
