MAN CITED AFTER ALLEGED FIREARM AND TRESPASS INCIDENT

Roseburg Police cited a man after an alleged firearm and trespass incident on Monday.

An RPD report said at 8:00 a.m. officers contacted the 45-year old on the railroad tracks in the 500 block of Southeast Oak after a caller reported that the suspect was discharging a weapon. The handgun turned out to be a CO2 propelled bb gun.

The man was charged with violating a city ordinance regarding discharging a firearm and for first-degree criminal trespass. He was released after the citation was issued.
