COVID-19 CLAIMS 52 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 4,855, AS OF TUESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 52 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 4,855, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 785 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 380,866.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 452, which is 9 fewer than on Monday. There are 108 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 fewer than on Monday.

The new cases include:

*104 in Multnomah County

*88 each in Jackson and Washington counties

*85 in Marion County

*59 in Deschutes County

Locally, OHA said there were 20 new cases in Douglas County
