Over 1,000 customers of Pacific Power lost power for 8 hours, beginning Monday night.
Pacific Power Regional Business Manager Sam Carter said just before 6:40 p.m. a very large tree fell into power lines near the 3400 block of Garden Valley Road, northwest of Roseburg. While nearly 1,400 customers were initially without power, around 400 of them had their power restored after about an hour. Those remaining without power were restored just before 2:40 a.m. Tuesday.
Carter said all the customers impacted were in the Garden Valley area.
