A 9-year old, missing for several hours on Friday, was located late that evening.

Lieutenant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said deputies, search and rescue and fire personnel began looking for the girl named Trinity in the early evening. She was initially reported missing at about 4:20 p.m. Trinity was described as being 4 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 80 pounds with dark red hair and wearing a pink raincoat and jeans.

O’Dell said the search area began in the 400 block of Stouts Creek Road in Days Creek. The girl was reported as being located and reunited safety with her family shortly before 10:30 p.m.
