Covering coastal Douglas County:

The City of Reedsport has openings on its volunteer boards and committees.

Applications are being taken until the positions are filled and appointments are made by the city council. Openings include the Budget Committee, Parks and Beautification Committee, Dangerous Buildings Abatement Board of Appeals, Planning Commission, Urban Renewal Advisory Committee, Traffic Safety Advisory Committee, Umpqua Experience Steering Committee and Urban Renewal Advisory Committee.

In addition, volunteers are needed to help with the Reedsport K9 Shelter, Dial a Ride Program, Umpqua Discovery Center, and Lower Umpqua Senior Center.
