A Roseburg man was jailed for an alleged strangulation incident on Wednesday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at 10:00 p.m. the 31-year old was detained stemming from an alleged altercation with a victim, in the 1100 block of Southeast Pine.

The man was charged with strangulation and harassment. Bail was set at $52,500.
