All three incumbent Douglas County Commissioners, who are all running for re-election, now have campaign opponents.

Brandy Stone recently filed for Position 2, which is currently held by Commissioner Tim Freeman. Stone, who is self-employed, also ran against Freeman in 2018, capturing just over 16 percent of the vote.

Tom Kress is facing a challenge from Marcus Black while Chris Boice is going up against Ashley Hicks.

Those running for positions on the ballot in next year’s May Primary Election, have until March 8th, 2022 to file.
