COVID-19 has claimed 23 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 4,318, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,557 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 361,240.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 542, which is 29 fewer than Monday. There were 127 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 4 fewer than on Tuesday.

The new cases include:

*191 in Multnomah County

*155 in Marion County

*145 in Lane County

*129 in Deschutes County

*113 each in Clackamas and Washington counties

*86 in Jackson County

*71 in Yamhill County

*66 in Linn County

*65 in Klamath County

*57 in Polk County

*49 in Umatilla County

*41 in Douglas County

*34 in Malheur County

*24 in Crook County

*23 in Josephine County

*22 in Columbia County

*15 each in Jefferson and Lake counties

*14 in Curry County

*11 each in Hood River and Wasco counties

*9 in Morrow County

*6 in Lincoln County

*5 in Sherman County

*4 each in Baker and Union counties

*3 each in Clatsop and Gilliam counties

*2 in Tillamook County

The new deaths ranged in age from 39 to 96. 4 lived in Lane County. 3 each lived in Klamath, Multnomah and Marion counties. 1 each lived in Washington, Jefferson, Coos, Douglas, Lane, Union, Josephine, Umatilla, Tillamook and Yamhill counties.
