A Roseburg teen is in fair condition at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield, following a single vehicle wreck in Lookingglass on Wednesday afternoon.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at 1:45 p.m. 18-year old Gregory Rothrock was the single occupant in a vehicle headed towards Lookingglass around the corner at the quarry. Witnesses stated that the driver was coming around the corner when he lost control of his sedan and it rolled off the south edge of the roadway.

The report said the driver was ejected during the rollover before coming down into the drainage. Rothrock was conscious at the time he was transported by medical due to his serious injuries.

Rothrock was later transported from CHI Mercy Medical Center to the Eugene area facility.
