Republican candidate for Congress Alek Skarlatos has raised of $512,000 in the third quarter of 2021.

A release said this was the first full fundraising quarter of his campaign. It said this follows a recent announcement from the National Republican Congressional Committee that Skarlatos was named one of their top candidates for the 2022 Young Guns Recruitment program.

Skarlatos said, “I am incredibly thankful to have the support of so many people”. He said this is just the start of a long campaign to stop the “…far-left agenda”.

Skarlatos is hoping to capture the Republican nomination to face off against long time Democratic incumbent Congressman Peter DeFazio.
