1 more person has died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County, 121 more people have received new positive test results and 5 more are presumptive, as of Monday.

Douglas Public Health Network has confirmed that the county’s 242nd COVID-19 related death was an 81-year old woman who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on September 28th and passed away on Friday. She was partially vaccinated.
The update said the total number of cases is now at 11,939. Of those, 11,591 are people that have received positive test results and 348 are presumptive. 36 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 22 locally and 14 outside the area, including 1 that has been transferred out of state. 4 COVID positive patients are in the Intensive Care Unit and 4 are in the Progressive Care Unit. 29 of the 36 hospitalized patients are not fully vaccinated.
