October 15, 2021 10:40 a.m.

Contractors for the Oregon Department of Transportation are continuing work on the Roberts Mountain Project south of Roseburg.

Five miles of Interstate-5 are being paved and climbing lanes are being constructed on the northbound and southbound approaches to Roberts Mountain. Drivers should watch for nighttime lane closures beginning at 6:00 p.m. near the Dillard Highway exit and Clarks Branch interchanges. Paving will continue through late October.

A 55 miles-per-hour speed limit is in effect for the southbound lanes of the freeway on Roberts Mountain.
