One person was jailed following an arrest by the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team on Tuesday.

Lieutenant Rick McArthur of DINT said at approximately 4:00 p.m. detectives served a search warrant at the residence of 57-year Cory Whitehill in the 200 block of Snowberry Road in Melrose.

McArthur said a search of the property allegedly revealed approximately a half pound of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 22 grams of suspected heroin, 14 illegal marijuana plants beyond the legal limit and two firearms. Charges included unlawful possession and manufacture of both methamphetamine and marijuana, unlawful possession and delivery of heroin, and for two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

After arraignment, Whitehill was held on $100,000 bail. No further information was released by DINT.
