Mercy Foundation has announced that this year’s Festival of Trees will be held as an exclusively virtual event.

Activities will include the Silver Bell Luncheon with an online auction on Thursday December 2nd. The Gala will be December 4th with an online auction including the designer trees and “Buy It Now” items. Each virtual online auction will be a live stream so it will have the feel of an oral live auction.

A release from the foundation said while the way it’s done and what is done this year may look different, the reasons the Festival of Trees is held has not changed. The foundation wants to ensure that children and families still have access to the prevention and wellness programs that that improve the health and well-being of Douglas County residents.
