Roseburg Police jailed a man after an alleged assault incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said just after 1:10 a.m. officers responded to multiple reports of an assault in progress in the 400 block of Northeast Jackson. They found two victims with injuries. The suspect, 28-year old Levi Hall, allegedly yelled threats at officers from a porch, then fled into the residence.

The man surrendered about five and a half hours later. Hall was charged with strangulation, assault in both the second and fourth degree and for menacing. Bail was set at $312,500.
