RAIN LEADS TO SINGLE VEHICLE WRECK

Rain led to a single vehicle wreck on Interstate Five southbound on Tuesday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said just before 3:00 p.m. the driver of a pickup said he was going 50 miles per hour just north of the summit of Roberts Mountain. He lost control on water that was crossing the roadway. The pickup went off into the center median where it crashed into the center barrier.

No one was hurt. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
