MAN JAILED FOR WEAPONS OFFENSE

A Roseburg man was jailed for an alleged weapons offense on Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said just after 10:00 p.m. two victims reported a series of disturbances where the suspect allegedly shoved them both around and made threats to kill them. The incident took place in the 2900 block of Northwest Kline.

The report said the suspect, 22-year old Brett Baglien, allegedly armed himself with a knife to defend himself from police. He was cornered at the end of Stacie Court where he surrendered after a 30-minute standoff.

Baglien received medical attention before being taken to jail. He was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, second-degree disorderly conduct, and two counts each of menacing and harassment. Bail was set at $70,000.
