STANDING WATER LEADS TO SINGLE VEHICLE WRECK

Standing water led to a single vehicle wreck on Monday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said just before 5:30 p.m. troopers were dispatched to Interstate Five northbound, about three miles north of Winchester. The driver said he was traveling at 65 miles per hour when his sedan hit the water and hydroplaned. The driver said he hit the guardrail and totaled his car. The report said the guardrail was badly damaged as well.
