Containment is up slightly on the Rough Patch Complex and the Jack Fire.
An update from Northwest Team 7 said containment on the Rough Patch is now at 45 percent while containment on the Jack Fire is up to 58 percent.
Firefighters successfully used direct tactics and helicopter water drops to suppress hot spots on the north end of the complex on Friday. Helicopters were also used on the southeast corner to support direct fire line construction. On many areas around the perimeter of the complex, crews conducted suppression repair operations, including processing logs, chipping limbs and removing debris from control lines.
Warm and dry weather will continue to reduce fuel moisture and increase the chance of limited active fire behavior and some smoke production. All perimeters will be monitored by air, and helicopters remain available for suppression assistance if needed.
The Chaos Fire has grown slightly to 38.850 acres. The Little Bend fire is up to 9,429 acres. The Jack Fire remains at 24,165 acres.
