Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged harassment incident on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at about 6:30 p.m. while sitting in their patrol car on the south end of the parking lot of the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard, an officer could hear a verbal disturbance coming from the area of the Duck Pond. When the officer looked at the field on the north side, they observed a man grab a victim by both shoulders and push her.

The 27-year old was taken into custody. Bail was set at $2,500.
