There are a number of opportunities to get a COVID-19 vaccination this week.

The Douglas County Tiger Team has pop up vaccine clinics, working with Umpqua Valley Ambulance, who provides a certified vaccinator and a medical assistant. The clinics are open to anyone, 18 years of age and older, and preregistration is not required. Aviva Health is offering free drive through vaccine and testing services for all symptomatic residents and for registered Aviva Health patients who are asymptomatic. No appointment is needed. Residents must be 12 years of age and older. Services are provided at 4221 Northeast Stephens, near Costco. The drive through is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Vaccinations are also available on a limited basis at Aviva’s outlying clinics in north county, Sutherlin, Glide and Myrtle Creek. The Cow Creek Health and Wellness Center is now administering COVID-19 vaccinations to those 18 years of age and older at its public health site in the south parking lot of Seven Feathers Casino Resort in Canyonville. Call 670-2949 to schedule an appointment.
