WOMAN CITED FOLLOWING ALLEGED HIT AND RUN INCIDENT

A Roseburg woman was cited following a reported hit and run incident on Sunday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 2:00 a.m. officers were dispatched to the parking lot in front of a business in the Garden Valley Shopping Center on Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The incident reportedly involved a large recreational vehicle and an SUV.

The suspect was found later in the parking lot of a business on Northwest Stewart Parkway.

The woman was cited for failure to perform the duties of a driver, driving while suspended, driving uninsured, and for failure of a previous violator to file. The suspect was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for an unrelated illness. She was later transferred to PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield where she is listed in fair condition at last check by a hospital spokesperson.

The woman was released after being cited.
