An Air Quality Alert is in effect until 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Quality Advisory for eastern Douglas County and southern Lake counties. This includes areas near the Rough Patch and Devil’s Knob fire complexes in Douglas County and close to wildfires in Lake counties.

Wildfires burning in the region combined with forecast conditions will cause air quality to fluctuate and could be at unhealthy levels.
