WOMAN CHARGED WITH JULY BANK ROBBERY

A 29-year old woman has been charged with a July bank robbery.

Roseburg Police had been looking for Amanda Wydur since July 22nd after identifying her as the suspect in the robbery of the downtown Roseburg branch of US Bank on July 20th.

That day at approximately 10:40 a.m. RPD responded to the bank on Southeast Main. It was reported that a female entered the bank and provided the teller with a note demanding money. No weapons were displayed. The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The bank went into lockdown until police arrived. RPD officers and detectives flooded the downtown area but could not locate the woman.

Wydur was arrested on Thursday in Tualatin, Oregon. She has been charged with robbery in the second degree and theft in the first degree. Bail has been set at $300,000.
