The Douglas County Board of Commissioners have announced that most county government offices will be closed on Monday, for the Labor Day holiday.

Exceptions include the Umpqua River Lighthouse Museum in Winchester Bay. County operated parks, campgrounds, and boat ramps will be open and accessible to the public throughout the weekend.

Douglas County 911 communications and staff with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office will continue to provide law enforcement protection and emergency assistance.
