A 26-year old man was jailed by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office following an alleged criminal mischief incident on Wednesday.

A DCSO report said a resident left his vehicle parked in the 8300 block of Old Highway 99 North in the Wilbur area, while at work. When he returned, he allegedly found Aaron Marshall in the car. The report said Marshall indicated he broke into the vehicle because it was left there for him. The suspect had reportedly removed several plastic panels from inside, exposing electrical wires. The inside of the vehicle was also ransacked.

Charges included unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree theft and for a parole violation. Marshall was held without bail
