AIR QUALITY ALERT CONTINUES

September 2, 2021 4:00 a.m.

An Air Quality Alert continues for parts of the region until further notice.

Staff with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality said the Alert is for Klamath, Josephine, Jackson, Curry and Lake counties. That includes Crater Lake National Park.

Wildfires burning in the region combined with forecast conditions will cause air quality levels to fluctuate and could be at unhealthy levels.
