Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged menacing incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 1:00 p.m. officers responded to the 100 block of Southeast Pine. When officers arrived, 42-year old Tyler Schexnider was seen walking toward a victim with a stick raised above his head. During the investigation, the victim said the suspect had pushed her, poked her with a stick and told he that he was going to kill her. Witnesses told officers they thought they were going to have to stop Schexnider from attacking the victim.

The suspect was charged with menacing, unlawful use of a weapon, second-degree disorderly conduct and for harassment. Bail was set at $63,750.
