The search for a missing Ashland man has come to a close, after searchers found his body on Saturday.

Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said Search and Rescue crews were looking in a larger area Saturday near where Trevor Watson was last seen. O’Dell said Watson’s body was located in a creek bed in the Glendale area at around 10:00 a.m.

The Douglas County Medical Examiners Office is conducting a death investigation, although foul play is not suspected at this time.

DCSO took a missing person report on August 22nd after the 36-year old had left a residence in the 300 block of Fir Point Lane on foot. The report said Watson left his cellphone and wallet behind and hadn’t been on contact with his family since.

O’Dell said no further information is expected to be released regarding the case.
