The Ride the Rim event at Crater Lake National Park has been postponed until next year.

A release from the National Park Service said the bicycle ride, which had been planned for September 11th and September 18th, is being delayed due to multiple factors including rising COVID-19 case rates throughout Oregon, limited availability of staff and volunteers and ongoing unhealthy air quality from fires throughout the region.

The release said, “The health and wellbeing of our visitors and staff is our top priority”. NPS and all the partners supporting Ride the Rim, “…look forward to the return of the event in September of 2022.”
