On Friday, the Oregon Health Authority reported a pandemic record for the number of COVID-19 statewide cases in a day, and pandemic records for the number hospitalized for COVID-19 in Oregon, as well as the number of COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds.

3,207 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 were reported, bringing the state total to 268,401.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 1,098, which is 13 more than on Thursday. There are 308 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 9 more than on Thursday.

The new deaths ranged in age from 29 to 89. 6 lived in Jackson County. 5 lived in Marion County. 2 each lived in Multnomah and Umatilla counties. 1 each lived in Washington, Tillamook, Coos, Polk, and Josephine counties.

OHA reported that 11,104 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 3,152 were initial doses and 1,630 were second doses that were administered on Thursday. 5,619 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
