Pandemic highs for COVID-19 hospitalizations and the number of people in intensive care unit beds was reported by the Oregon Health Authority on Wednesday.

The update said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 1,080, which is 80 more than on Tuesday. There are 295 COVID-19 patients in ICU beds, which is 12 more than on Tuesday.

COVID-19 has claimed 20 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 3,086, as of Wednesday. OHA reported 2,777 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 263,164. The new cases include:

The new deaths ranged in age from 48 to 97. 5 lived in Douglas County. 4 lived in Umatilla County. 2 each lived in Josephine and Multnomah counties. 1 each lived in Crook, Coos, Jackson, Marion, Washington, Lincoln and Columbia counties.

OHA reported that 11,462 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 2,951 were initial doses and 1,507 were second doses administered on Tuesday. 6,306 were administered on previous days, but were entered into the vaccine registry on Tuesday.
