JACK FIRE, ROUGH PATCH COMPLEX HAVE SOME GROWTH

The Jack Fire and the Rough Patch Complex, both have some growth in fire size.

An update from Great Basin Incident Management Team 2 said the Jack Fire has grown to 23,787 acres, up by 11 acres. The Rough Patch Complex has had a larger amount of growth pushing it to 23,646 acres, up by just over 1,400 acres.

There was perimeter growth to the south and northeast on the Little Bend Fire and the south side of the Chaos Fire between the burned-out control lines and the main fire, on Sunday. Those two fires remain zero percent contained.

The Jack Fire remains 51 percent contained while the Rough Patch Complex is still 3 percent contained. The Jack Fire is 20 miles east of Glide while the Rough Patch Complex is 10 miles north of the Jack Fire.
