The Jack Fire and the Rough Patch Complex, are still seeing active fire in some areas.

An update from Great Basin Incident Management Team 2 said on the Jack Fire active fire behavior is on the south and southwest flanks. Similar behavior is on the south flanks of the Buckhead and Near Minky Fires. Direct fire line construction and indirect fire lines with burnout operations are occurring in the west and northwest areas of the Chaos and Little Bend Fires.

The update said gusty winds over slopes and ridges are still likely to increase fire activity.

The Jack Fire is now listed at 23,764 acres and 51 percent contained. The Rough Patch is listed at 20,778 acres and 3 percent contained.
