A Sutherlin woman was cited in two separate incidents on Saturday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 6:30 a.m. 65-year old Pamela Sather allegedly lit a full garbage can on fire at Eagles Park in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson. The can was full engulfed and ultimately extinguished by the Roseburg Fire Department. Officers allegedly witnessed the suspect drink a beer and then throw garbage into the roadway during the investigation.  Sather was cited for reckless burning, offensive littering, and for drinking in public and was issued an exclusion notice.

At about 6:00 p.m. Sather allegedly lit garbage cans on fire in the 500, 600 and 700 blocks of Southeast Jackson Street. When approached, the suspect reportedly threw a pair of children’s goggles which struck one officer in the leg.

The Douglas County Jail refused to lodge Sather on the new crimes. She was cited and released for 6 counts of reckless burning and for harassment.

On Sunday at about 11:10 a.m. the suspect was reported by multiple callers to be running into traffic without her pants on, in the 700 block of West Harvard. She was taken to the Sobering Center.
