A memorial service to honor former Oregon House District 2 Legislative Representative Gary Leif, will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

A release said the service will be held at Roseburg Christian Fellowship on Northeast Walnut Street. Cards and notes of condolence from those unable to attend may be sent to the family of Gary Leif, at PO Box 986 in Roseburg, 97470.

Those attending are encouraged to bring written cards or letters sharing their experiences and history with Gary Leif. Those will be collected as people arrive, and will be shared with the family later, instead of an open microphone during the service.

With a large crowd anticipated, guests can arrive beginning at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to one of Leif’s favorite organizations- CASA of Douglas County. Go to www.casaofdouglascounty.org and note that the donation is being made in memory of Gary Leif.
