Citing a concern over the recent rise in COVID-19 cases in Douglas County, the Roseburg City Council will hold its meeting tonight virtually via Zoom.
City Manager Nikki Messenger said in a release that the City Council hopes the switch to virtual meetings will be temporary, but said “given the recent explosion in local case numbers, it is prudent to return to virtual meetings in the short term.”
The public will still be able to make comments during the virtual meeting and will need to contact the City Recorder by 4 p.m. to make accommodations. The phone number to call is 541-492-6866.
Those wishing to make comments will be provided with a link or phone number to access the meeting.
The City Council meetings may be viewed live on Facebook or watch an archived version the next day on the City of Roseburg website.
