A juvenile was injured in a single vehicle accident on Wednesday.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said just after 2:30 p.m. the 17-year old was driving north in the 1,000 block of Gazley Road in the Canyonville area.

The report said the juvenile attempted to change the song on her music player, which caused her to drift across the yellow lines. She overcorrected, striking the steep embankment on the east side of the road. That caused her vehicle to flip, sustaining an injury to her left arm.

The driver was taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center to be treated. A body shop recovered the vehicle.
