Thursday is the second day for this year’s Douglas County Fair.

The main gate opens daily at 7:00 a.m. for 4-H and FFA activities. The Carnival gates open at 10:00 a.m. with commercial buildings opening at 11:00 a.m. Carnival attractions begin operating at 11:00 a.m.

Thursday admission is free for everyone until 3:00 p.m. Kids 12 and under get in free all-day every day thanks to the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians. Teens get $2 off the admission price every day by bringing canned food.

Quiet Riot will play at the Cascade Community Credit Union Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m.

Buses are available from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on the hour and half hour. Buses can be picked up at Roseburg High School and at the First Student lot in the Green District.

The fair runs each night until 11:00 p.m.
