WOMAN JAILED AFTER ALLEGED HARASSMENT INCIDENT

A Roseburg woman was jailed for an alleged harassment incident on Monday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 10:00 p.m. a woman allegedly slapped and scratched the victim and smacked the phone out of his hand, in front of their young children. The report said when an officer informed the woman that she left scratches on the victim’s stomach she stated, “good, he deserved it”.

When told she was under arrest the 27-year old allegedly resisted being taken into custody and had to be forced into handcuffs. She was detained without bail. The incident reportedly took place in the 500 block of Northeast Cummins.
