ROSEBURG LIBRARY OFFERS OUTDOOR YOUTH PROGRAMMING

Roseburg Public Library will have hands-on, outdoor craft programs throughout the month.

A release said every Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. through August 25th, library staff will host a program at the Stewart Park pavilion next to the playground. Events are designed for children ages 6 to 12. Parents or caregivers must accompany children younger than age 10.

Library staff will also offer outdoor craft programs from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday mornings in front of the library, on the grassy area at the corner of Jackson Street and Diamond Lake Boulevard. Children and youth ages 9 to 18 can come for crafts August 7th and 21st. Children ages 6 to 12 are invited August 14th and 28th.

Staff is asking parents or caregivers to register their children or groups for these programs by going to: www.roseburgpubliclibrary.org. Click on “Events” for a calendar view, then click on the program title to register.

The release said all supplies will be provided for the programs, which are made possible through the K-12 Summer Learning Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation.
