THE DADDIES CONCLUDE THE RIVERBEND LIVE! 25TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON

In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

The Riverbend Live! concert series concludes its 25th anniversary season with The Daddies taking to the stage on Friday night.

The unique group began in Eugene in 1989 and evolved their style over the years to include ska, and swing with other genres of music mixed in. Their first big success came from the hit song “Zoot Suit Riot” in 1997 under the band name Cherry Poppin’ Daddies:

A newer release from 2019, “Bigger Life” heads more to a big jazzy sound for The Daddies:

Those attending should bring their blanket or chair. Food is available for sale on-site or patrons can bring their dinner from home. Wine and beer are allowed. The venue is tobacco free.

Get to Riverbend Live! by taking Interstate Five to exit 119 and follow the signs to Riverbend Park in Winston. The show begins at 7:00 p.m.
