Starting on Sunday, Public Works crews with the City of Roseburg will perform evening and overnight road striping work.

Public Works Director Brice Perkins said paint striping operations will continue throughout the month of August. Work has been scheduled Sundays through Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. to reduce impact on traffic.

Perkins said on Sunday, crews will begin painting stripes on West Harvard Avenue and its collector streets, which carry traffic from minor streets to arterial streets. Working in a clockwise direction, crews will then move to Stewart Parkway, Garden Valley Boulevard, Northwest Stewart Parkway, Edenbower Boulevard, Stephens Street, Pine, and the collectors of each road.
