TWO-VEHICLE WRECK AFTER DRIVER LOSES CONTROL

There was a two-vehicle wreck after a driver lost control on Interstate Five Wednesday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said at 12:45 p.m. a sedan was southbound near Round Prairie when it overtook a slower vehicle in the left lane, changed into the right lane to pass, then went back to the left lane, losing control. The report said the vehicle crossed into the gravel median then crossed both lanes striking the guardrail. It then started across both lanes back toward the center median where it collided with a commercial motor vehicle in the right lane.

The sedan was towed from the scene while the commercial vehicle could be driven away. No injuries were reported. It does not appear that any citations were issued.
